My wife had a baby!
My 3rd child, first daughter, was born 4/14 and mom and baby are happy and healthy. I was thrilled with having 2 boys, but wife really wanted to have a girl, so we tried one last time and got lucky. She’s a beautiful baby, and the tiniest little thing you ever saw; I’ve caught bass as big as she is!
The way it has worked out, my wife is “in charge” of the baby, and I get to handle the boys. They’re good kids, and it’s not too bad, but it’s certainly taking up a lot of my time. Or all of it. We got the boys a wii to try to appease them, but they’re a little too young to handle it on their own, so daddy gets paged frequently for help. They do love it and they are thankful, so that makes me feel good as a parent.
Not sure who she looks like yet, but at times she looks like both of her brothers. I’m sure I’m jinxing this, but so far she’s a good sleeper. She doesn’t have a standard sleep schedule yet, but she does sleep a few solid hours at a time.
Returning to work this week, hopefully that will get me back close to a regular schedule, and posting more here!
